Labourer/FLT Nights - Thornaby

We are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable Labourer / FLT Driver to join our team on a busy ASDA store project. This is a night shift position where you will be supporting site tradesmen with a variety of tasks including moving materials around site, operating an FLT, keeping work areas clean and tidy, and assisting with general site duties as required.

The successful candidate will be punctual, proactive, and willing to get stuck in wherever needed. This is a hands-on role that requires someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.

Requirements:

  • MUST hold a valid CSCS Card
  • MUST hold a valid FLT Licence
  • Previous experience working on construction sites
  • Hardworking and reliable
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • Happy to assist tradesmen and carry out general labouring duties
  • Ability to work safely and follow site procedures
  • Good team player with a positive attitude

Duties Include:

  • Operating an FLT to move materials around site
  • Assisting tradesmen with daily tasks
  • Loading, unloading and distributing materials
  • Maintaining site cleanliness and welfare areas
  • General labouring duties as required
  • Ensuring work areas remain safe and organised
